Beaker Bongs

The beaker bong is easily one of the most iconic, if not the most iconic types of bongs in history. The beaker bong dates back to 1860, where Emil Erlenmeyer created the Erlenmeyer flask. Okay, so maybe not the bong as it functions today, but this flask design would later inspire the classic beaker bong. The Erlenmeyer flask is similar to the original beaker bong, except it lacks a place for the downstem and bowl and has a considerably shorter neck. The beaker bong’s popularity stems from its super effective beaker shape.

Why use a Beaker Bong with a Design?

This is because the beaker shape allows for a huge amount of smoke, which in turn provides you with big hits that you wouldn’t receive with other bongs. The large beaker bottom also allows for more water, which will offer much better filtration than your average straight tube bong. The extra water also helps to cut down on how often it will require cleaning. It’s also an ideal choice for those clumsy individuals thanks to the extra weight of the base that makes it much more difficult to knock over.

Beaker Shapes

The beaker shape is as synonymous with the bong as Cheech & Chong are with weed culture. And ever since the erlenmeyer flask bong (shape) was devised over 150 years ago, the basic beaker shape hasn’t really changed. But the beaker bong designs of today go far beyond what was conceivable back then. Which is why we here at Nothings Impossible Glass pride ourselves on our selection beaker bongs with designs and unique beaker shapes.

Everything from the classic clear beaker design to a variety of designs like our Beehive Honeycomb Beaker Bong to our Sandblasted No Imp Logo Beaker Bong.

When compared to other high-quality glass manufacturers on the market, our work is relatively inexpensive, allowing anybody to get their hands on a killer piece of glass. And as always, every one of our bongs features our Nothings Impossible logo, usually on the neck or the underside of the base.

One of the only minor drawbacks of beaker bongs would have to be the cleaning process. It’s not to say that it’s a difficult process, but when you pit straight tube bongs vs beaker bongs, with regard to cleaning, straight tube bongs come out on top. It’s not by much, but it’s still worth noting.
